Reply Totem, SK Gaming, Tribe and Hmble challenged each other for the title of champion of the ESL-tagged tournament first season, structured in a first group stage phase followed by a double elimination bracket where the black-green team dominated uncontested every single match, confirming their rank 1 status within the European ranking.

With a Day 1 of the tournament characterised by three consecutive victories collected against SK Gaming Humble and Tribe, the audience of the Gamescom in Cologne was able to observe the incredible power of Maury, Maru and Joker, which through a considerable improvement both in the draft phase and in every game modes, managed to reach a level of match preparation unmatched in Europe. The confirmation came in the double elimination phase, replicating the win against Tribe Gaming and following it up with a swift 3-0 win in the Gem Grab, Brawl Ball and Heist game modes against SK in the Grand Final. The victory felt extra rewarding since SK were playing in front of their home crowd (SK gaming are based in Cologne ed.).
