Dreamhack Valencia 2022: Reply Totem confirm themselves as Kings of Europer

Reply Totem makes a grand return to the Snapdragon Pro Series Challenge Finals with the goal of replicating the first season success and maintaining the first place in the European leaderboard.

The Valencia 2022 Dreamhack, held over the December 9-11th weekend, was the stage for the Snapdragon Pro Series Challenge LAN finals, the final event of the European ESL circuit amounting to a total prize pool of $50,000. The event, essential for qualifying to the Snapdragon Mobile Masters (the international stage of the ESL circuit with over 200,000 dollars in prize money), has seen the black-and-green team reach the final after a phenomenal run in the lower bracket, ending on a deserved victory that proves their value on the Brawl Stars esports scene.

After their August Season 1 victory in Cologne, the Reply Totem squad of Joker, Maru and Maury arrived in Valencia knowing they were the team to beat within the European region. After the recent top 8 at the Paris World Championship, Coach Inso’s boys start the day on the wrong foot, falling in the first round against the French Chasmac Gaming. A match started with a positive 2-1 break quickly transformed into hell, bringing down Reply Totem to the lower bracket and creating a high-pressure scenario where mistakes were not allowed. Despite that, the following match against Tribe Gaming immediately turned the tables: a decisive 3-1 victory proves necessary in order to raise morale, allowing them to dominate the rematch with Chasmac with a 3-0 victory, a result that was then repeated in the final against the historic rivals of the SK Gaming team. Reply Totem thus maintains the top spot of the European leaderboard, earning the ticket for the international stage of the Snapdragon Mobile Masters in Tokyo, a prestigious event to be held next May.

“Great work by our guys who have once again shown great resilience, recovering after the initial defeat and showing every Brawl Stars’ fan that, despite the many victories this year, we are still very hungry.” commented Fabio Cucciari, CEO of Reply Totem.
