Pre-season pit stop: Reply Totem ready to unveil its Rocket League team!
With the 11th season of the Italian Rocket Championship (Rocket League national championship ed.) approaching, Reply Totem will face changes in order to repeat the success of 2022.
With the IRC split start date set for the 12th of September 2023, Reply Totem is preparing to underlie important changes within its roster. In fact, Davoof and Deadmonster will leave the black-and-green colors after 2 splits spent together, fresh from the victory at MGW22 and a second place finish at the last edition of the championship. The Totem newcomers are Yukeo and Simas, two players who will complete the trio with the reconfirmed Hyderr, following the guidance of Coach Barist. Yukeo is a name that rings a bell for the IRC: the 23 years old Austrian is in fact fresh from the victory of the last split which, combined with a significant palmares (RLCS 2020 champion and a past in teams such as Dignitas, SK Gaming, Heroic) makes him the perfect profile to lead Reply Totem to what could be their second consecutive title at the Milan Games Week. Simas, on the other hand, presents himself as a very young champion prospect; the Lithuanian boy born in 2005 comes from a past in WYLDE, where in 2022 he qualified for the RLCS as the first Lithuanian ever to do so.
Fabio Cucciari, CEO and co-founder of Reply Totem, commented: “there are now just over 2 weeks until the start of the IRC and Reply Totem is ready to compete thanks to two new acquisitions of absolute importance; the hard decision to say goodbye to two of our boys from MGW22, was not hasty, but rather the result of an important planning phase with our staff. Yukeo and Simas are important profiles that will help us keep the focus on our goal: to repeat last year’s success and triumph in front of the fantastic Milan Games Week crowd.”
