Reply Totem at the Brawl Stars World Finals: A Story of Success and Tenacity
Reply Totem has qualified for the Brawl Stars World Finals 2024 for the fourth consecutive time, once again confirming its elite status in the global competitive scene. With a prize pool of $1,000,000 and only 12 teams participating, the competition will be fierce, but the black and green team is ready to fight.
Having participated in every edition of the Brawl Stars World Finals since Reply Totem began competing, the team has faced internal revolutions, both managerial and tactical, which prevented them from qualifying during the regular season. The team, consisting of Maury, Maru, and Kaoss, had to say goodbye to their previous coach Role to welcome Sebas, in an attempt to shake things up and reach new heights.
After exhausting the chances of qualifying through the monthly finals, the changes finally yielded positive results, and the qualification was secured thanks to an exceptional performance in the Last Chance Qualifier, held over the weekend of August 24-25 at Gamescom in Cologne, one of the most important gaming events of the year. The prize? One of the last available slots to access the most important tournament of the year. On Saturday, in the group stage, Reply Totem faced and decisively defeated both NAVI, a Japanese team, and the Chinese Toxic Lotus, leaving no room for doubt about their determination to return to the international stage. On Sunday, however, the real spectacle came in the decisive match against Tribe Gaming. In a heart-pounding battle, the Reply Totem players fought until the last breath, managing to secure a hard-fought 3-2 victory that earned them a ticket to the World Finals.
Reply Totem also has the honor of being the only team at the World Finals with the distinction of fielding two Italian players, a fact that always fills the entire national competitive community with pride, garnering all the possible support.
The Brawl Stars World Finals will be held from November 1 to 3 in Finland during Superfest, and Reply Totem has been placed in Group B, along with Spacestation Gaming and Pioneers. The journey will be anything but simple, but the experience and determination shown by the team in the qualifying stages bode well for a high-level performance.
Fabio Cucciari, CEO and Co-Founder of Reply Totem, commented:
“This year has certainly presented some challenges for us. There were new elements compared to usual, including the change of coach and the uncertainty linked to the Last Chance Qualifier—situations that could have easily destabilized the team. Yet, despite everything, the boys remained united and determined. Every challenge was faced with the same fighting spirit that brought us this far. I am extremely proud of how the team handled the pressure, always maintaining confidence in themselves and the work done. With an event of such media magnitude and the prestige of once again being among the top 12 teams in the world, Reply Totem is now ready to play all its cards, with the goal of finally bringing the tricolor to the podium.”
