Reply Totem shines at the Brawl Stars World Finals with an incredible Top 4 finish
In a season filled with emotions and unforgettable moments, Reply Totem achieved an extraordinary result, finishing among the top four teams in the world at the Brawl Stars World Finals in Helsinki—Supercell’s most successful edition of the event to date (with around 1 million peak viewers). This feat rewards the hard work of Maru, Maury, and Kaoss, supported by an exceptional technical staff.
The group stage tested the team’s skills and preparation for the event, and they stood up to the challebge. The first match against Spacestation Gaming was hard-fought, but in the end, Maury and his teammates secured a 2-1 victory. This win gave them the momentum needed to face Pioneers, whom they defeated with a 2-0 score. With two victories under their belt, Reply Totem proved to be one of the most well-prepared teams in the tournament, earning an automatic spot in day 2.
In the quarterfinals, Reply Totem faced Rival Esports, a match that represented their goal from the previous year’s world finals. Thanks to a winning strategy, the Italian team closed the match with a convincing 3-1, advancing to the semifinals and surpassing their performance from the previous season.
Unfortunately, their run to the final was cut off by Crazy Raccoon, one of the toughest teams in the tournament, featuring some of the strongest players in the world. The Japanese team defeated the Totem squad 3-1. Despite the sad ending in the semifinals, the team fought with determination, showcasing their skills and the hard work put in over the months, from the bootcamp in Finland to their final decisive match.
With a top 4 finish, Reply Totem has proven once again to be a competitive force to be reckoned at the international level. Maru and Maury, who have participated in four consecutive world finals without changing organizations, stand as examples of consistency and dedication. Their performance in Helsinki marks another milestone in Reply Totem’s history, solidifying their reputation in the world of esports, both in Italy and internationally.
Fabio Cucciari, CEO of Reply Totem, commented on the achievement: “Another year has passed, and as our guys have shown us, Reply Totem is always there, at the top next to the best. To say I’m proud of the work done after a challenging start to the season is an understatement; we were the only team coming from the Last Chance Qualifier to make it past the group stages and go all the way to the end. This is further proof of our perseverance and the growth in quality of our roster, which over the years has been able to retain and develop the right talents. Now, it’s all about focusing on the future and the next challenges in black and green!”
